AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 71, VOLUME 79 OF THE LAWS OF DELAWARE RELATING TO CERTAIN POSITIONS IN THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE COURT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. AMEND § 2, Chapter 71, Volume 79 of the laws of Delaware by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows:
Nothing in this Act shall affect the classified status of any employee currently employed on the date immediately preceding the effective date of this Act. Any incumbent occupying a position as an Operations Manager, Judicial Operations Manager, Investigative Supervisor, Controller, Fiscal Administrative Officer, Family Services Program Support Administrator, Management Analyst, Judicial Secretary, Administrative Specialist or Human Resource Specialist at the time of the enactment of this bill, may elect to be governed by the Judicial Branch Personnel Rules or continue to be governed by the Merit System of Personnel Administration.
