HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2
AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO PLUMBING PERMITS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 7906(e), Title 16 of the Delaware Code by striking the first sentence thereof in its entirety and substituting the following in lieu thereof:
"The Division of Public Health shall issue plumbing permits and shall assess a $100 fee for each permit, except that no permit shall be required or fee assessed for the replacement of an existing fixture, piece of equipment or related piping, including but not limited to hot water heaters and water conditioning systems."
