AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 9 OF THE DELAWARE CODE CONCERNING THE MANNER OF VOTING UPON SUBURBAN COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 507 of Title 9 of the Delaware Code by deleting subsection “(b)” and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
“(b) The election shall be held not less than 20 days nor more than 60 days after the submission of the plans, specifications and estimates to the county government.”.
Section 2. Amend § 509 of Title 9 of the Delaware Code by inserting before the last sentence in that Section the following:
“Absentee Ballots may be permitted and managed in such a manner as prescribed by the county government.”.
