AN ACT TO AMEND CERTAIN SUBSECTIONS OF CHAPTER 2, TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO THE COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE, ELECTING MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE, AND AUTHORIZING THE BOARD TO PROMULGATE RULES AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §203 (b), Chapter 2, Title 24 of the Delaware Code, by deleting the words "and the member shall no longer be eligible to participate in Board proceedings unless unlawfully appointed" contained in the last sentence of §203 (b) and inserting thereto the following; "however, the Board member shall remain eligible to participate in Board proceedings unless and until replaced by the Governor."
Section 2. Amend §204 (a), Chapter 2, Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting it in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following: "In January of each year the members shall elect, from among their Board a President, Secretary and a Treasurer. Each officer shall serve for one year, and shall not succeed himself or herself for more than two consecutive terms."
Section 3. Amend §205, Chapter 2, Title 24 of the Delaware Code, by adding a new §(12) to Section 205(a)(1) to read as follows:
"(12) Formulate rules and regulations relating to the requirements for continuing education."
