AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 2, PART I, TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO TIME LIMITATIONS; AND PROVIDING A STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR UNCLASSIFIED MISDEMEANORS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:
Section 1. Amend Subsection (b), §205, Chapter 2, Title 11 of the Delaware Code by striking paragraph (3) of said subsection in its entirety, and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"(3) A prosecution for a Class B misdemeanor, a Class C misdemeanor, an unclassified misdemeanor, or a violation must be commenced within two (2) years after it is committed."
Section 2. The provisions of this Act shall apply to all unclassified misdeanors commited after July 1, 1973.
