AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE GUMBORO VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY TO COVER THE COMPANY'S LANDFILL.

WHEREAS, the Gumboro Volunteer Fire Company has operated for more than 10 years a landfill for the people of Gumboro at its own expense; and

WHEREAS, the landfill has been used only for trash and not for other types of refuse; and

WHEREAS, by order of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control the Gumboro Volunteer Fire Company Landfill must now be discontinued and the ground covered.

NOW, THEREFORE:

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware (three fourths of all the members elected to each House thereof concurring therein):

Section 1. The sum of $4,000 is appropriated to the Gumboro Volunteer Fire Company to be used for covering the hole made by the company's landfill operation.

Section 2. This Act is a supplementary appropriation and the monies appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any monies in the General Fund not otherwise appropriated.

unexpended on June 30, 1976, shall revert to the General Fund of the State of Delaware.
