AS AMENDED BY SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

AN ACT TO PROVIDE A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO CORRECT THE PAY OF AN EMPLOYER OF THE CAPITOL SECURITY OFFICE RESULTING FROM AN ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR.

WHEREAS, Mr. Roland J. Conner, during the period June 1, 1970 through December 31, 1970, served as a Motor Vehicle Inspector; and

WHEREAS, by mistake Mr. Conner was paid the lower rate of pay of a Teletype Operator, a position he had held prior to June 1, 1970; and

WHEREAS, the job of Teletype Operator was abolished resulting in the temporary assignment as a Motor Vehicle Inspector; and

WHEREAS, due to an administrative error the annual merit increment was not given to Mr. Conner on July 1, 1970; and

WHEREAS, on January 1, 1971, Mr. Conner was transferred to the Capitol Security Office as a Watchman; and

WHEREAS, there is back salary due to Mr. Conner in the amount of $2,038.

NOW, THEREFORE:

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:

Section 1. The sum of two thousand thirty eight dollars (2,038) is hereby appropriated to the Department of Public Safety, Capitol Security Office for back pay Mr. Roland J. Conner, an employee of said office, resulting from administrative error.

Section 2. This Act shall be considered a supplementary appropriation and the sum appropriated shall be in addition to any funds heretofore appropriated and shall be paid by the State Treasurer from General Fund monies not otherwise appropriated. Any such funds which remain unexpended as of June 30, 1975, shall revert to the General Fund of the State of Delaware.
