EXPRESSING CONGRATULATIONS TO MRS. PHYLLIS SCHABINGER, FIRST GRADE TEACHER IN THE APPOQUINIMINK SCHOOL DISTRICT, ON BEING CHOSEN DELAWARE TEACHER OF THE YEAR.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the 126th General Assembly of the State of Delaware that Mrs. Phyllis Schabinger, first grade teacher in the Appoquinimink School District, Middletown, Delaware, has been selected Delaware Teacher of the year; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Schabinger, following the footsteps of her father and grandfather in the field of education, has served with love and dedication the children of the Appoquinimink School District for the past sixteen years; and
WHEREAS, during that time, she has been accorded the friendship and respect of her colleagues and the affection of the people of the community; and
WHEREAS, her excellence in the performance of the duties of her profession has already been recognized by awarding her the title of Master Teacher; and
WHEREAS, her dedication to her profession, her superior ability at her profession, and the love and affection of her students, have been an inspiration to others entering the field of teaching.
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 126th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the Senate concurring therein, that the 126th General Assembly hereby extends congratulations to Mrs. Schabinger on her selection as Delaware Teacher of the Year; and
