CHAPTER 259
APPROPRIATION - STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE
AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE FOR SALARIES AND OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Public Welfare the sum of One Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Forty Dollars ($174,040.00) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1957 and there is hereby appropriated the further sum of One Hundred Ninety-Three Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-one Dollars ($193,931.00) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1958 to be used by the Department for the purpose of recruiting and retaining a sufficient number of employees and to enable the department to provide adequate space and equipment for its employees, and said appropriation in each of the fiscal years shall be allocated as follows:

Section 2. This Act shall be known as a Supplementary Appropriation Act and the money hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the General Fund of the State of Delaware.
