CHAPTER 217 - DEAF, DUMB AND BLIND - RELATING TO INDIGENT, DUMB OR CRIPPLED CHILDREN

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 75 OF THE REVISED CODE OF DELAWARE, 1935, RELATING TO DEAF, DUMB AND BLIND, BY STRIKING OUT THE WORDS "INDIGENT" AND "DUMB" WHEREVER THE SAME MAY APPEAR IN SAID CHAPTER; BY REPEALING 3061 SECTION 15 THEREOF RELATING TO COLUMBIA INSTITUTION FOR THE DEAF AND DUMB AND THE APPROPRIATION PROVIDED THEREFOR; BY STRIKING OUT THE WORDS "DUMB OR CRIPPLED" WHERE THE SAME APPEAR IN 3065 SECTION 19 THEREOF.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Chapter 75 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same hereby is amended by striking out and repealing the words "indigent" and "dumb" wherever the same may appear in said Chapter.

Section 2. That Chapter 75 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out and repealing all of 3061 Section 15 thereof.

Section 3. That Chapter 75 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same hereby i§ amended by striking out of 3065 Section 19 thereof the words "dumb or crippled" where the same appear therein.
