CHAPTER 216 - HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSES PROVIDING FOR COMPLIMENTARY LICENSES TO CERTAIN PERSONS

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 74 OF THE REVISED CODE OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE, 1935, RELATING TO FISH, OYSTERS AND GAME, BY GRANTING TO THE BOARD OF GAME AND FISH COMMISSIONERS THE POWER TO ISSUE COMPLIMENTARY HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Section 3 of Chapter 74, being paragraph 2804 of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware, 1935, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding at the end of said paragraph 2804 a new paragraph to be designated 2804A Section 3A.

2804A Sec. 3A. The Board of Game and Fish Commissioners of the State of Delaware is hereby authorized to issue annually, complimentary hunting and fishing licenses to any of the following:

(a) the Chief Executive of the United States,

(b) the Governor of any State,

(c) authorized officials of the Game and Fish Departments of other states.

Such complimentary licenses shall not be transferable, shall be issued on such form as the Board may designate, and without the payment of any fee therefor and when so issued shall be valid authority for the holder or holders thereof to hunt and fish in the State of Delaware in accordance with the laws of said State; Provided, that .no more than twenty (20) such complimentary licenses she' be issued in any one calendar year.
