CHAPTER 200 - FREE PUBLIC SCHOOLS PRESIDENT OF STATE COLLEGE FOR COLORED STUDENTS TO BE EX-OFFICIO A MEMBER OF THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 71, REVISED CODE OF DELAWARE, 1935, RELATING TO FREE PUBLIC SCHOOLS BY MAKING THE PRESIDENT OF THE STATE COLLEGE FOR COLORED STUDENTS, EX-OFFICIO, A MEMBER OF THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
SECTION 1. That 2623. Sec. 1., Article 1, Chapter 71, Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, as amended, be further amended by adding a new paragraph at the end of said Section as follows:
The President of the State College for Colored Students shall be, ex-officio, a member of said State Board of Education, and shall serve in a consulting and advisory capacity only. He shall have no vote nor shall he receive any compensation for serving as a member of said State Board of Education.
