CHAPTER 54 - APPROPRIATION - STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE RESPIRATORS
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND DIRECT THE STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE RESPIRATORS AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
Section 1. The State Highway Department is authorized and directed to purchase a sufficient number of respirators to supply one to each of the State Police Stations in the State for the purpose of aiding in the saving of lives in cases of illness and emergency.
Section 2. The sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) is hereby appropriated to be used for the purchase of such respirators. Said sum or as much thereof as necessary shall be paid out by the State Treasurer upon warrants approved by the proper officers of the State Highway Department.
Section 3. This Act shall be known as a Supplementary Appropriation Act and the funds hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the General Fund of the State Treasury.
