CHAPTER 195 - CEMETERIES

AN ACT RELATING TO CEMETERIES IN KENT COUNTY; REQUIREMENT AS TO GRAVEYARDS, MONUMENTS AND VAULTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. Any person, firm or corporation owning, controlling, managing or having any interest in any graveyard or cemetery in Kent County, after selling and giving a deed to a burial lot or lots in said cemetery or graveyard, who refuses the owner of said purchased lot or lots the privilege of placing or erecting in said lot or lots any vault or tomb stone he or she desires, or demands any commission or any renumeration from any company or agent for any vault or tomb stone purchased for said lot or lots, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined Fifty Dollars (050.00) for each offense.
