AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE MEDICAL PRACTICE ACT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 1703, Title 24 of the Delaware Code by adding a new subsection “(19)” to read as follows:
“(19) Notwithstanding the provisions of 24 Del. C. § 1702(9)e, a physician licensed in another state or the District of Columbia may render a written or otherwise documented medical opinion to a person covered by the State Group Health Insurance Program pursuant to any second opinion or diagnosis evaluation program offered by the State Group Health Insurance Program without obtaining a certificate to practice medicine in this State.”.
