AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 18 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO LIFE INSURANCE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §5518, Chapter 55, Title 18 of the Delaware Code by striking said section in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
“No certificate of membership issued by any association shall provide for death benefits in excess of $100,000.00 or sickness of accident disability benefits in excess of $1,000.00 per week. No association shall issue more than one (1) of each of the above types of certificates of membership to any one (1) person.”.
