BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend Section 1204(a)(1)b., Title 20, of the Delaware Code by inserting the phrase “or was a member of the Delaware National Guard or a reserve unit located within the State of Delaware for at least 20 years” between the word “years” and the word “provided”.
Section 2. Amend Section 1204(a)(3), Title 20, of the Delaware Code by inserting the phrase “or National Guard or reserve service” in the last sentence after the word “residency”.
Section 3. This bill shall become effective three months after enactment.
