AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 15, TITLE 13 OF THE DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO DIVORCE AND ANNULMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :

Section 1. Amend §1516, Title 13 of the Delaware Code, by deleting §1516 (b) and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection (b) to read as follows:

“(b) A judge or commissioner, sitting without a jury, shall conduct all hearings and trials where there is a contest, and in those proceedings that are uncontested.”
