AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 152, VOLUME 48 OF THE LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE 'TOWN OF NEWARK' TO THE 'CITY OF NEWARK' AND ESTABLISHING A CHARTER THEREFOR", RELATING TO THE REGISTRATION OF VOTERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend the Charter of the City of Newark, Chapter 152, Volume 48 of the Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking the second paragraph of §1002.1 its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof a new second paragraph to read:
“Registration of voters in City of Newark municipal elections shall be administered and conducted pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 75, Title 15 of the Delaware Code.”
