AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO STATE DETECTIVES AND SPECIAL INVESTIGATORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 1911(a), Title 11 of the Delaware Code by striking the word “or” as it appears therein in paragraph (8) by striking the “(.)” as it appears at the end of paragraph (9) and by substituting in lieu thereof “, or”, and by adding thereto a new paragraph to read:
“(10) A state detective or special investigator of the Department of Justice.”.
Section 2. Amend § 8401(5)a., Title 11 of the Delaware Code by inserting the words “state detective or special investigator of the Department of Justice” after the words “State Office of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs” and before the word “and” as they appear therein.
Section 3. Amend § 9200(b), Title 11 of the Delaware Code by inserting the words “or a state detective or special investigator of the Department of Justice” after the words “or a Probation and Parole Officer of the Department of Corrections” and before the word “provided,” as they appear therein.
