AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYORS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend § 2706(a)(10), Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the word “licensed” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the word “professional”.
Section 2. Amend § 2708(a)(1)a., Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the word “licensed” as it appears in this subsection and inserting in lieu thereof the word “professional”.
Section 3. Amend § 2708(a)(1)b., Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the word “licensed” as it appears in this subsection and inserting in lieu thereof the word “professional”.
Section 4. Amend § 2708(a)(1)c., Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the word “licensed” as it appears in this subsection and inserting in lieu thereof the word “professional”.
Section 5. Amend § 2711, Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the word “licensed” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the word “professional”.
Section 6. Amend § 2712(a), Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the period “.” at the end of Subsection (9) thereof and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
“; or
(10) has practiced or offered to practice as a land surveyor when the practitioner’s license has expired”.
Section 7. Amend § 2719, Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the word “licensed” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the word “professional”, with the exception of the word “licensed” used in the beginning sentence preceding the words “in this State”.
