AN ACT PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE RELATING TO APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend §3 of Article IV of the Constitution of the State of Delaware by adding at the end thereof the following:
“Seventh, at the time of appointment to a vacancy in any Judicial Office as aforesaid the appointee shall have been a registered member of that political party for a period of at least one year.”.
