AN ACT TO WAIVE THE STATUTORY PROVISIONS OF TITLE 13 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE SOLEMNIZATION OF CERTAIN MARRIAGES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Allyson J. Campbell and Jeffrey R. Ulmer are hereby exempted from the provisions of 13 Del. C. §106(a), which designates who may solemnize marriages. The Honorable John J. Viola, State Representative for the 26th Representative District of Delaware is hereby authorized to solemnize the marriage of Allyson J. Campbell and Jeffrey R. Ulmer on June 4, 2005 at any location in New Castle County, Delaware. The Clerk of the Peace for New Castle County shall issue one official marriage license to Allyson J. Campbell and Jeffrey R. Ulmer pursuant to this Act, the provisions of 13 Del. C. §106(a) to the contrary notwithstanding.
