AN ACT PERMITTING THE INDIAN RIVER SCHOOL DISTRICT TO TRANSFER CERTAIN MAJOR CAPITAL SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION FUNDS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Three-fourths of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary, the Department of Education, with the approval of the Budget Director, the Controller General and the Co-Chairs of the Joint Legislative Committee on the Capital Improvement Program, is authorized to approve a transfer of more than 10% of major capital construction funds between major capital construction projects authorized in the Indian River School District Certificate of Necessity #0136C-L Amended dated April 14, 2000. The Indian River School District shall not be authorized to change any conditions or incur any obligation in excess of Certificate of Necessity # 0136C-L Amended dated April 14, 2000.
