AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 67 OF TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE PERTAINING TO AMBULANCE SERVICE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend §6717, Title 16 of the Delaware Code by deleting the period "." after the last word in the heading and by adding:
Section 2. Amend §6717, Title 16 of the Delaware Code by adding a new subsection "g" to read as follows:
"Any person, company or organization that provides ambulance service within the State of Delaware without being authorized and certified by the State Fire Prevention Commission as an ambulance service provider shall be fined not more than $300. per offense. Each and every day the provision of ambulance service continues after knowledge or official notice that such activity is illegal shall be deemed a separate offense."
