SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 4 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO PROHIBITION OF SALES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §709(d), Title 4, Delaware Code by adding after the phrase “Thanksgiving Day; Christmas;”, the phrase “Easter;”.
Section 2. Amend §709(i), Title 4, Delaware Code by adding at the end of that subsection, a new sentence to read as follows:
“Notwithstanding this subsection, a holder of a license for the sale of spirits, wine or beer in a store or taproom off shall remain closed for business on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.”
