AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ABUSE, NEGLECT, OR MISTREATMENT OF PATIENTS AND RESIDENTS OF NURSING HOMES AND SIMILAR FACILITIES.
Section 1. Amend §1132(b) of Title 16 of the Delaware Code by striking the words “liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 per violation” and substitute in lieu thereof the words “fined not more than $1,000 or shall be imprisoned not more than 15 days, or both”.
