AN ACT TO AMEND CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF WILMINGTON, PURSUANT TO 22 DEL. C., SECTION 811, RELATING TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE MAYOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
WHEREAS, Sections 3-204, 3-301, 3-403, 5-100, 5-101 and 5-102 of the City of Wilmington Home Rule Charter set forth the qualifications and duties of the Administrative Assistant to the Mayor; and
WHEREAS, the title of Administrative Assistant to the Mayor shall be replaced with the title of Chief of Staff to accurately reflect the qualifications and duties of the position.
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend Sections 3-204, 3-301, 3-403, 5-100, 5-101, 5-102 and Article V and Chapter 1 headings of the City of Wilmington Home Rule Charter by deleting the words “administrative assistant to the mayor” or “administrative assistant” as they appear therein and substituting in lieu thereof the words “Chief of Staff”.
