AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND APPROVE THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN NEW CASTLE COUNTY TO THE AMERICAN LEGION POST 25 OF MIDDLETOWN.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of 17 Del. C. 137(b), the Department of Transportation is hereby authorized to sell the 6.505 acres of Real Estate Inventory No. NC-297A, an unused portion of the SR-1 Relief Route, a portion of New Castle County Tax Assessment map 13-013.00-064, located east of relocated County Route 37 and south of the intersection of Vance Neck Road and northbound U.S. Route 13, to the American Legion Post 25 of Middletown for fair market value without the need to conduct a public auction.
