AN ACT TO WAIVE THE STATUTORY PROVISIONS OF TITLE 13 OF THE DELAWARE CODE
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Cherie Beth Godwin and Michael Andrew Keenan are hereby exempted from the provisions of 13 Del. C. §106(a) which designates who may solemnize marriages and that the Honorable Mary Pat Thynge, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District of Delaware is hereby authorized to solemnize the marriage between Cherie Beth Godwin and Michael Andrew Keenan on Sunday August 10, 2003, at the Brantwyn Mansion on Rockland Road in New Castle County. The Clerk of the Peace for New Castle County shall issue one official marriage license to Cherie Beth Godwin and Michael Andrew Keenan pursuant to this Act, the provisions of 13 Del. C. §106(a) to the contrary notwithstanding.
