AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 30 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO BUSINESS TAXES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend § 2909, Title 30 of the Delaware Code, by adding to said section a new subsection (l) to read as follows:
“(l) This chapter shall not apply to the sale of aircraft having a certified takeoff weight of 12,500 pounds or more.”.
Section 2. Amend § 2901, Title 30 of the Delaware Code, by adding to said section a new subsection (10) to read as follows:
“(10) ‘Certified takeoff weight’ means the maximum weight contained in the type certificate or airworthiness certificate.”.
Section 3. This act shall be effective for gross receipts received on or after the first day of the month following the date on which this bill is enacted into law.
