AN ACT TO AMEND AN ACT BEING CHAPTER 326 OF VOLUME 71, LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REINCORPORATE THE TOWN OF MILTON" TO PROVIDE FOR INCREASING THE PAY OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR ATTENDING REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETINGS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend Section 9(b) of Chapter 326, Volume 71, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking the first two lines and replacing thereto as follows:
"(b) The Mayor shall be paid seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for each regular meeting attended by him/her and shall be paid thirty dollars ($30.00) for each special meeting attended by him/her. Each member of the Town Council shall be paid forty dollars ($40.00) for each regular meeting attended by him/her and twenty dollars ($20.00) for each special meeting attended by him/her.".
