AN ACT RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF THE BUDGET DIRECTOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend 29 Del. C. §6315 by adding the following subsection:
“(c) In the event of a vacancy in the position of Budget Director, including the death, resignation, temporary incapacity, or removal of the incumbent and prior to the appointment of a successor, the Governor may appoint any qualified individual to serve as Acting Budget Director.”
