AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 9, SUBCHAPTER III, TITLE 10, DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO GRANDPARENTS VISITATION RIGHTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1. AMEND §950 (7) of Subchapter III, Chapter 9, Title 10, Delaware Code, by striking the word "shall" as the same appears on line 6 of said paragraph (7) and substituting in lieu thereof the word "may", and further adding at the end of said paragraph (7) the following: The trier of fact shall make the ultimate decision based upon the best interest of the chil₁dren."
