AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 9, CHAPTER 68, 56804 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ORGANIZATION OF PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Title 9, Chapter 68, §6804 Is hereby amended by striking said section in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
"§6804. Organization; power and duties
(a) At the first regularly scheduled meeting of the Commission in July of each year, the Commission shall convene and organize by selecting a Chairman. Before entering upon the duties of the office, each member shall take and subscribe the oath or affirmation prescribed by the Constitution. The Commission may create and fill such other offices In addition to Chairman as it may determine. It shall adopt rules for the transaction of business and shall keep a record of its resolutions, transactions, findings and determinations, which records shall be a public record.
(b) Three voting members of the Commission shall constitute a quorum.
(c) The county government shall provide suitable and convenient office space for the use and occupancy of the Commission, and shall furnish and supply all necessary equipment for the office."
