AS AMENDED BY SENATE AMENDMENT NOS. 1 AND 2
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 2, TITLE 11, OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF THE TERM "FIREARM".
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend §222, Chapter 2, Title 11 by redesignating subsections (9) through (23) as (10) through (24) and by adding a new subsection designated as subsection (9) to read as follows:
"(9) 'Firearm' includes any weapon from which a shot, projectile, or other object may be discharged by force of combustion, explosive, gas, and or mechanical means, whether operable or Inoperable. It does not include a B.B. Gun."
