AN ACT TO AMEND 6123, SUBCHAPTER 1, CHAPTER 1, TITLE 13, OF THE DELAWARE CODE, RELATING TO MARRIAGES BETWEEN MINORS WHO ARE PROSPECTIVE PARENTS OF A CHILD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. 6123, Subchapter 1, Chapter 1, Title 13, of the Delaware Code, is hereby amended by adding a new sentence to subsection (f) thereof to read as follows:
"Prior to the issuance of any license pursuant to the provisions of this subsection, any parties desiring to marry who acknowledge that they are the prospective parents of a child shall present a certificate of a medical doctor stating that the female is pregnant."
