AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 83, PART V, TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO POWERS AND DUTIES OF STATE POLICE AND LOCAL POLICE OFFICERS ASSISTING STATE POLICE.
Section 1. Amend §8302, Chapter 83, Part V, Title 11 of the Delaware Code by striking subsection (a) of said section, and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"(a) State Police shall have police powers similar to those of sheriffs, constables and other police officers, and shall be conservators of the peace throughout the State, and they shall suppress all acts of violence, and enforce all laws relating to the safety of persons and property."
