AN ACT TO AMEND AN ACT ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REINCORPORATE THE CITY OF LEWES" AND PROVIDING AUTHORIZATION FOR COUNCILMEN TO SIGN APPROPRIATIONS WARRANTS PURSUANT TO ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware (two-thirds of the members elected to each House concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend Section 19, Chapter 170, Volume 57, Laws of Delaware, by striking subsection (h) of said section, and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"(h) Warrants pursuant to ordinances or appropriation resolutions made by the City Council shall be signed by any two elected officials of the City or by any elected official of the City and the City Manager. The Mayor of the City of Lewes shall prepare and submit to the City Council such reports as may be required by that body. He shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by this Charter, or required of him by ordinance or resolution of the City Council."
