AN ACT TO AID THE DELAWARE GUIDANCE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH, INC., BY MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THEM.

WHEREAS, the State of Delaware benefitted in the amount of $10,450 in the calendar year 1971 by services provided to young citizens who were referred by the Department of Health and Social Services to the Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, only $375 of that amount was reimbursed by Medicaid; and

WHEREAS, the State of Delaware should reimburse private agencies which help citizens referred to them by the State Government.

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware (three-fourths of all the members elected to each house concurring therein):

Section 1. The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated to the Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc., for the fiscal year 1973.

Section 2. This Act is a supplementary appropriation act and the monies appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any monies in the General Fund of the State of Delaware not otherwise appropriated.
