CHAPTER 217

APPROPRIATION - EXPENSES OF STATE GOVERNMENT

AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE EXPENSES OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT FOR EACH OF THE TWO FISCAL YEARS ENDING JUNE 30, 1954 AND JUNE 30, 1955.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:

Section 1. The several amounts named in this Act, or such part thereof as may be necessary and essential to the proper conduct of the business of the agencies named herein, are appropriated and authorized to be paid out of the Treasury of this State by the respective departments and divisions of State Government, and other specified spending agencies, subject to the provisions of Part VI, Title 29, Delaware Code of 1953, and for the periods specified. All parts or portions of the several sums appropriated by this Act which, on the first day of July immediately following each of the respective fiscal years, shall not have been paid out of the State Treasury, shall revert to the General Fund of the State Treasury; provided, however, that no funds shall revert which are encumbered pursuant to Section 6521, Title 29, Delaware Code of 1953 and, provided further that vouchers for payment of obligations entered into prior to the end of the fiscal year may be presented for approval within twelve (12) days after the end of the fiscal year.
