CHAPTER 317 - SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE PURCHASE OF STATIONERY AND OTHER SUPPLIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE SPECIAL SESSION OF THE 109TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE HELD ON MARCH 24, A. D. 1944.

WHEREAS, by Senate Resolution No. 6 and House Resolution No. 4, the 109th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, meeting in Special Session at Dover on March 24, A. D. 1944, directed the State Librarian to furnish stationery and other supplies to members and certain officials participating in said Special Session; and

WHEREAS, the said State Librarian was unable to fully comply with the directives of said resolutions because of lack of an appropriation of funds; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the sum of Five Hundred and Eighty Dollars ($580.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund in the Treasury of the State of Delaware for the purchase of stationery and other supplies authorized to be furnished at said Special Session of the 109th General Assembly as expense in connection with said Session;

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the State Treasurer of the State of Delaware, upon warrants approved by the State Librarian, is hereby authorized and directed to pay for such stationery and other supplies needed to carry out the directions of House Resolution No. 4 and Senate Resolution No. 6 as passed at said Special Session, out of the appropriation hereby made.
