CHAPTER 215 - HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSES

TO BE ISSUED WITHOUT CHARGE TO MEMBERS OF ARMED FORCES ON FURLOUGH

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 74 OF THE REVISED CODE OF DELAWARE, 1935, ENTITLED "FISH, OYSTERS AND GAME", BY EXEMPTING MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES ON FURLOUGH FROM THE PROVISIONS THEREOF REQUIRING LICENSES FOR HUNTING AND FISHING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Chapter 74 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended by adding after the words "twenty-five cents.", at the end of the first paragraph of 2885. Sec. 84 thereof, a new sentence as follows:

Provided, however, that for the duration of the present war and six months thereafter no member of the armed forces, resident in this State, shall be required, while on furlough, to obtain any license so provided for in this Chapter before hunting, trapping or fishing in this State.
