CHAPTER 192 - BETHANY BEACH PROVIDING FOR INCREASE IN AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 212, VOLUME 25, LAWS OF DELAWARE, 1909, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE TOWN OF BETHANY BEACH AND GIVE IT AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS", AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 153, LAWS OF DELAWARE, 1941, PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASE IN THE AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met (two-thirds of all the members elected to each branch thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. That Section 12 of Chapter 212, Volume 25, Laws of Delaware, 1909, as amended by Chapter 153, Laws of Delaware, 1941, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out and repealing all of Section 12 as it appears in said amendment to said act and by inserting in lieu thereof the following:
For the purpose of raising money for the general purposes of said Town, the Commissioners of said Town be and they hereby are authorized and empowered to levy and collect by taxation not exceeding Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) in any one year on all assessable real estate within the limits of said Town.
