CHAPTER 101 - AUDITOR OF ACCOUNTS INITIAL COST OF PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLES PURCHASED

FOR STATE USE

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 16 OF THE REVISED CODE OF DELAWARE, 1935, ENTITLED "AUDITOR OF ACCOUNTS", BY LIMITING THE PRICE WHICH MAY BE PAID FOR PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLES BY STATE DEPARTMENTS, BOARDS OR COMMISSIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That Chapter 16 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended by adding to 445. Sec. 34. of said Chapter a new paragraph as follows:

On and after the passage and approval of this Act and for and during the continuance of the present war and for six months thereafter no department, board or commission of the State of Delaware shall purchase any passenger motor vehicle to be used by such department, board or commission for State purposes, whose initial cost shall exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00), where the same is paid for out of State funds.
