CHAPTER 93 - STATE TREASURER PROVIDING FOR DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN VOUCHER CHECKS
AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 15 OF THE REVISED CODE OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE, 1935, RELATING TO THE STATE TREASURER AND TRUSTEE OF THE SCHOOL FUND BY PROVIDING FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN VOUCHER CHECKS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
Section 1. That 404. Sec. 7. of Chapter 15 of the Revised Code of Delaware, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended by striking out and repealing all of the second paragraph of 404. Sec. 7. thereof and by inserting in lieu thereof a new paragraph as follows:
The State Treasurer and State Auditor are hereby authorized to destroy cancelled original and duplicate voucher checks and paid bills of the State of Delaware in their possession which are of no legal value and which are more than five years old.
