CHAPTER 84 - AUTHORIZATION TO ACCEPT FEDERAL FUNDS

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT FUNDS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE BOARD BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT UNDER GRANTS AUTHORIZED THEREBY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That the State Board of Health of the State of Delaware be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to apply for and receive funds made available to the Board by any agency or department of the Federal Government authorized to make grants in aid of any of the present or future health programs undertaken, maintained, or proposed by the State Board of Health of the State of Delaware; namely, maternal and child health, aid to crippled children, venereal disease control, public health work under Title VI of the Federal Social Security Act, Tuberculosis Control, and other health programs, that may be developed.

Section 2. All moneys received from any Federal agency or department, as provided in Section 1 hereof, shall be paid into the State Treasury of the State of Delaware and shall be for the use of the State Board of Health. The moneys so received shall be used solely for the purpose or purposes for which the grant or grants shall have been made and for no other purpose.
