CHAPTER 59 - APPROPRIATION - TOWN OF MILLSBORO

AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSIONERS OF MILLSBORO FOR REIMBURSING THE TOWN OF MILLSBORO FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONNECTING CONCRETE STREETS BETWEEN HIGHWAYS.

WHEREAS, The Commissioners of Millsboro have laid and constructed a concrete street on "State Street" within the limits of the Town of Millsboro, extending from the Post-office corner Northward to the Town Limits of the said Town; and

WHEREAS, said street has become an integral part of the State Highway System of the State of Delaware; now, therefore

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met (three-fourths of all members elected to each branch thereof concurring therein):

Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($5,500.00) for the purpose of paying the Town Council of the Town of Millsboro for its expenditures in connection with the payment for and the building of the aforesaid concrete street which now forms a part of the State Highway System.

Section 2. That the Town Council of the Town of Millsboro is hereby expressly relieved from the duty of levying and collecting any taxes for the purpose of paying any indebtedness of said Town which the amount hereby appropriated will pay.

Section 3. That this Act shall be known as a Supplementary Appropriation Act and the amount hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the General Fund of the State Treasury from funds not otherwise appropriated.
