CHAPTER 36 - APPROPRIATION - AMERICAN LEGION

AN ACT APPROPRIATING MONEY TO THE AMERICAN LEGION, DEPARTMENT OF DELAWARE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met (three-fourths of all the members elected to each House concurring therein):

Section 1. That the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated to the American Legion, Department of Delaware, for operation expenses for the biennium beginning July 1, 1945 and ending June 30, 1947. Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) of said sum shall be paid within three months after July 1, 1945 and a like sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) shall be paid within three months after July 1, 1946, to the duly elected Finance Officer of the American Legion, Department of Delaware, upon warrants signed by the said Finance Officer and approved by the Auditor of Accounts.

Section 2. This Act shall be known as a Supplementary Appropriation Act and the money hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the General Funds of the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
